Key Responsibilities- Safety First: Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero-harm and incident/injury-free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position.
- Maintenance Expertise: Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, ensuring all aircraft maintenance, documentation, and certification are carried out and completed in line with the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), procedures manuals, and responsible Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) requirements.
- Planning and Oversight: Plan, distribute, and oversee scheduled maintenance, ensuring all maintenance certified is carried out in accordance with maintenance data.
- Supervision and Training: Supervise maintenance personnel and support apprentices when required, ensuring all maintenance certified is carried out in accordance with maintenance data.
- Record Keeping: Ensure maintenance records are completed and certified correctly by authorized personnel prior to Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) issue.
- Hangar and Workshop Maintenance: Ensure the general condition and upkeep of the hangar and workshop are maintained.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with the Flight Risk Management System (FRMS) and Workplace Health and Safety Management System (WHSMSM) policies and procedures.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as directed by the Senior Base Engineer.
- Essential Criteria: Experienced LAME B1 or dual licensed, heavy and line maintenance experience, relocation assistance offered if not local resident, and DHC8 Classic Type Rating offered if not currently rated.
- Desirable Criteria: Dash 8 Classic Rating, Confined Space training, current First Aid Certificate, and Forklift license.
