Job Title: Porter

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Porter to join our team at Pullman & Mercure King George Square. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with guests on arrival, departure, and during their stay, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Receive and transport guest vehicles and luggage, ensuring they are delivered to their destination safely and efficiently.
  • Provide recommendations and information about Brisbane and its surroundings to our guests, enhancing their stay and promoting our hotel's services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Upsell hotel products and services, providing exceptional service and product knowledge to our guests.
Requirements:
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to work in a luxury city hotel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • A friendly personality paired with professionalism and a high standard of personal presentation.
  • An open manual driver's license and the ability to safely lift and carry heavy items.
  • The ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
