About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Project Officer to join our Regional Planning Team in the Hunter Central Coast Branch.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental policy and planning, with experience in leading project teams and providing technical advice on a broad range of environmental matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice on environmental planning and policy matters
  • Lead project teams to deliver environmental planning projects
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve environmental outcomes

Requirements

  • High level experience in environmental policy and planning
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and provide technical advice
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
