About Our Opportunity

Embark on a challenging role as a Business Development Representative with Stegbar, a leading organization in the Australasian building industry. This exciting opportunity is based at our Smithfield branch, where you will work on a subcontracting basis to prospect customers in the Greater Sydney region.

Your primary focus will be to develop new business opportunities through retail leads, builder leads, and your own prospecting channels. To succeed in this role, you must be confident in engaging and building rapport with customers, employing a consultative selling approach to establish and maintain relationships by offering hands-on support from initial contact to after-sales service.

You will spend most of your time on the road, interacting with current and prospective customers, canvassing, and closing new business opportunities within our Shower Screen and Wardrobe department.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A strong sales background dealing with major house accounts and retail customers
  • Previous experience in the Wardrobes and Shower Screens or similar industry
  • Experience with CRM software
  • ABN and Public liability insurance
  • Personal Vehicle and Phone
About You

We seek a self-motivated sales professional with a strong service ethos who can manage their work schedule effectively. As this role is highly autonomous, you will have the freedom to run your day as you see fit. This position would suit an established business owner or someone looking to start their own business as a Sales Agent.

Your ability to build positive relationships, negotiate, close deals, and proactively find and develop new business will be crucial to your success in this role.
