Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at Vulcan, Australasia's leading metals distributor.

Key Responsibilities
  • IDentify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector, focusing on offering wear solutions to reduce clients' costs.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and onsite trials to demonstrate product benefits.
  • Build and nurture relationships with mine owners, design consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and service contractors.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our semi-technical steel plate products and their application in the mining industry.
Requirements
  • High school qualifications are essential; degrees will be considered based on attitude and energy.
  • A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in the mining or industrial services sector, with familiarity with steel products, especially wear applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and negotiation skills.
Salary and Benefits

Our competitive remuneration package includes a salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, tools of the trade (car, phone, and laptop), generous parental leave policy, and opportunities for career growth within our company.

Location and Travel

You must be willing to travel in NSW and interstate as needed, with potential for international travel. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential.
