Transform Healthcare as a Territory Manager

Medtronic is a market leader in Diabetes devices, and we're seeking an enthusiastic individual with a growth mindset to join our successful Diabetes team as a Territory Manager in Queensland. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for implementing key sales strategies and driving revenue targets through growing insulin pump therapy and promoting Diabetes products and therapy options to clinicians, specialists, diabetes educators, and health service stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote, educate, and sell products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strive to understand customer needs and provide credible alternatives that effect mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and the company.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders and leverage these to sell Diabetes products.
  • Provide education, training & support effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff.
  • Manage customer queries in a professional manner. Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed.
  • Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained.
  • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company's products.
  • Gather market intelligence (customer and competitor activities) by observation, discussion, or research.
  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with proven experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver's licence required.
