About Us:

We are a leading provider of bespoke commercial joinery solutions, specialising in high-quality craftsmanship for offices, retail spaces, hotels, and more. Our team is committed to excellence in design, fabrication, and installation.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Daily Operations: Manage the factory's daily activities, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled craftsmen and women.
  • Production Scheduling: Collaborate with the Design & Project teams and Directors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all joinery work meets company standards and specifications before dispatch.
  • Health & Safety: Promote and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of machinery and tools.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain materials and stock levels, placing orders when required.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot any issues that arise in production and work to resolve them swiftly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role within the commercial joinery or shopfitting industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial joinery processes, materials, and modern production techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and ensure specifications are met.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in a workshop environment.
  • Experience with CNC machinery.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
