VenuesWest is seeking a highly skilled Legal Practice Coordinator to join our team. As a Legal Practice Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating the allocation and management of legal requests for advice, enhancing the way we work and delivering results for Western Australia and our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate legal requests for advice: Work with the General Legal Counsel to anticipate change and embrace new culture, ensuring that legal requests are managed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide high-level support and paralegal skills: Utilize your considerable high-level support and/or paralegal skills and experience to provide highly responsive, customer-focused legal services support to the Department.
- Develop and maintain relationships: Liaise and negotiate with external organisations, government departments, statutory authorities, and other agency staff at all levels to achieve team outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve deliverables and contribute to the achievement of team outcomes.
Requirements:
- Considerable high-level support and/or paralegal skills and experience: Possess considerable high-level support and/or paralegal skills and experience, with an understanding of legal terminology, legal documents, and procedures.
- Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills: Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with external organisations, government departments, statutory authorities, and other agency staff at all levels.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively: Proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the achievement of team outcomes.
