Procurement Expert

Seeking a seasoned and accomplished Procurement Expert to lead our procurement strategy. In this role, you will provide expert advice on procurement best practices, negotiate and manage contracts, and execute sourcing strategies to ensure compliance with legislation and regulation.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity for a Hybrid Working Model. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney, working 2-3 days per week in the office.

The primary objective of this role is to provide end-to-end procurement expertise across our Professional Services category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to achieve best outcomes for the organization.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve commercial outcomes.
  • Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders in relation to procurement activities within assigned categories.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and external experts to ensure continuous improvements in commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership, with a strong background in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and build strong supplier relationships.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in communicating complex information to various audiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field is desired but not essential.
