We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex Platform Developer to join our team in the APAC region. This individual will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our Murex platform, which plays a strategic role in the financial operations of our company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, Murex applications, and system improvements. A proactive approach to problem-solving and robust analytical skills are essential for this role. A graduate degree in a STEM-related field is required, preferably with a numerical and software engineering background.

This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Murex installations around the APAC region
  • Provide on-site training to clients using the Murex software system and conduct in-house training seminars on Murex
  • Act as a core reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in system decision-making for the APAC region
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimal solutions
Requirements:
  • At least a graduate degree level in a STEM course
  • A combination of a numerical background and a software engineering background is particularly advantageous
  • Minimum 2+ years of Murex experience
  • Experience with SQL, UNIX, R, Python, Perl, or bash
  • Sound administration, analytical, reporting, and leadership & training skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
