About the Role

The Lead Service Technician will oversee a team of skilled technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair, and response of critical systems, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Fire services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with CDC policies and safety standards.
  • Manage shift rosters, communicate work tasks, and ensure Data Centres meet required coverage.
  • Oversee the production, approval, and training of SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs, and mentor Service Technicians for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and prioritise maintenance activities, reviewing service reports, and updating CMMS systems.
Requirements

We are seeking a leader with experience in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Data Centres or similar facilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Trade or Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical – Refrigeration – Mechanical - Mechatronics – Fire).
  • Prior experience operating Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Exposure to data centre equipment - CRAC units, UPS, Generators, Fire, etc.

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
