Electrical Engineer for Capital Projects

Tronox is the only titanium dioxide pigment producer in Australia, with over 60 years of experience in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, and commissioning strategic capital electrical and instrumentation programs for Tronox Plants in accordance with Australian engineering codes and standards.
This role requires strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to drive and support E&I capital projects.
You will work closely with production, maintenance, and T&I departments to ensure effective operation and maintenance of key equipment.
Key Accountabilities- Provide technical leadership to drive and support E&I capital projects
- Custodian for plant governance & compliance for E&I statutory equipment, methods, and processes
- Develop and manage medium-long term E&I asset management plans to achieve business goals
- Prepare and effectively administer budgets for E&I projects/programs and identify opportunities for costs reduction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Significant post-graduate experience (10+ yrs) and in-depth knowledge in areas such as project management of capital projects for plant E&I systems, HV/LV Switchgear MCC, and current applicable Australian E&I standards and Codes
- CPEng or eligible for CPEng accreditation leading to NER Registration
