Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Office Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia. This role provides operational support to the Nuveen Natural Capital Australian Farmland business, WGA, on a broad range of general management and administrative services/activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual local budget and monitor actual to budget reports.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Country by Country reporting requirements and collate financial information.
  • Review, approve, and pay invoices of the local entity and liaise with external accountants.
  • Oversee leases for WGA offices in Wagga Wagga and Perth and coordinate negotiations with the landlord.
  • Support HR requirements for staff, including employee handbook, timesheets, and visa-related issues.
  • Maintain Corporate Insurance policies and manage one direct report to support business and team activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Business Management, Accounting, and/or Administration, and high-level computer proficiency. A background in agriculture or agribusiness, or a general industry understanding and/or appreciation, is also desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to collaborate within a team, manage resolutions, build and foster relationships, and work confidently with people at all levels. Effective communication skills and the ability to earn trust and credibility are essential.
