Job Summary

This position involves preparing detailed engineering designs and calculations for various mechanical projects.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and skills in AutoCAD and Inventor, as well as excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor.
  • Issue manufacturing drawings to fabricators.
  • Review and check drawings generated by others to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
  • Streamline the process from concept to detailed manufacturing drawings using existing models.
  • Deliver designs and drawings within agreed project schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy of engineering calculations.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding drawings.
Requirements
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong experience in engineering design and calculations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
  • Draftsperson experience in mechanical or industrial projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
