About the Role

As a Restructuring & Insolvency Graduate, you will address the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on the sale of distressed entities
  • Helping with creditors' meetings preparation and attendance
  • Conducting investigations into companies' demise and compiling reports for ASIC and creditors
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, customers, and lenders
  • Financial modeling for reports like financial due diligence and business reviews
  • Optimizing working capital to release additional cash in companies
  • Assisting in business transformation strategies, including process and reporting improvements

A Day in the Life

You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and their stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include addressing financial and transactional challenges, conducting investigations, and preparing reports for various stakeholders.

Requirements

Accounting or Finance degree and interest in obtaining a CA qualification

Soft skills, such as empathy and respect, to understand and recognize clients' needs and work well with our people

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

Good lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Some work or internship experience

This role requires travel to client and FTI offices
