Restructuring & Insolvency Graduate Job Description

As a key member of our Corporate Finance and Restructuring team, you will be working with corporates, financiers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your primary focus will be on addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations and their key stakeholders.

The role involves working on various projects including the trade-on and sale of distressed entities, preparation and attendance at creditors' meetings, conducting investigations into company demise, and compiling reports for ASIC and creditors.

Additionally, you will assist in business transformation strategies, optimising working capital, and providing financial modelling support. You will also be responsible for liaising with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, suppliers, customers, and lenders.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Interest in obtaining a CA qualification
  • Soft skills such as empathy and respect for clients' needs
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Some work or internship experience
