About the Role

This position involves providing exceptional customer service to regional customers, ensuring a seamless travel experience from check-in to departure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and friendly check-in and boarding services at Sydney Airport.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and timely receipt and dispatch of aircraft.
  • Conduct passenger marshalling on the tarmac and manage queues in the terminal.
  • Complete pre-flight and post-flight operational tasks, including updating flight information and ticket sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong Sabre Departure Control System (DCS) skills through training provided by your employer.
  • Provide dedicated assistance to eligible guests at the airport lounge, including facilitation of lounge amenities and services.
  • Support customers with damaged or lost baggage enquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing time efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Experience with Sabre DCS is advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A proven track record of providing outstanding customer service in a high-service environment (aviation, cruise, rail, hospitality, or tourism).
  • Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • A professional and enthusiastic approach to supporting regional aviation.
