Job Opportunity

The role of Senior Legal Expert for Commercial Operations involves overseeing the legal aspects of commercial activities across a defined region. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of lawyers located in various countries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide advice and support for commercial teams and all commercial activities across the designated region.
  • To manage a team of lawyers and ensure they are working efficiently to meet business objectives.
  • To partner with senior commercial management and play a key role in senior commercial leadership teams.
  • To analyze regional legal and corporate risk, offering alternatives and recommendations as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Superior knowledge of legislation and legal systems to facilitate the analysis of novel or highly complex information and issues.
  • Able to develop strategies to facilitate the consistent application of legislation and legal systems across the business.
  • Ability to scan the external environment to stay abreast of current/pending legislation, key external cases and their associated business implications.
  • Collaborative mindset with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues at all levels in the organization.
