Beacon Legal is partnering with a global digital consumer business seeking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel in Sydney.

Career development

What work will you do?

As part of a high-performing legal team, you will:

  • Provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice across diverse practice areas.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts.
  • Advise the business on regulatory compliance and intellectual property matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key transactions and projects.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
  • Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and legal team development.
  • Support process improvements and the adoption of legal technology.
What type of person will be successful?
  • Admitted to practise law in Australia.
  • 6–10 years PQE gained in a top-tier law firm and/or strong in-house environment.
  • Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced, regulated industries.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving ability.
  • A collaborative, commercially minded lawyer with strong attention to detail.
