Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic legal advice to commercial teams on commercial transactions, contracts, and regulatory matters
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize potential liabilities
  • Lead a team of lawyers to deliver excellent client service, meeting commercial teams' expectations for speed, quality, and value
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure consistent application of legislation and regulations across regions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide expert guidance
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong track record of leadership, legal expertise, and commercial acumen. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You will be a qualified lawyer with at least 15 years of experience, preferably in a commercially focused law firm or publicly traded company. Your expertise should span contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region.
