We are constructing the future of Queensland's infrastructure.

Cross River Rail is a transformative project that will revolutionize transportation in South East Queensland. Our team is proud to be part of this ambitious undertaking.

The Tunnel and Station Package involves building a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. We will also build four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba.

Our project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane, offering an unbeatable lifestyle blend of activity and relaxation. As we work on this massive infrastructure project, you'll have the opportunity to shape the city's future.

We're looking for an experienced HV Engineer Lead to undertake key responsibilities:

  • Testing and commissioning systems to ensure timely delivery and compliance:
  • Station 11 kV High Voltage Installations
  • Station and tunnel earthing and bonding
  • Station low voltage Installations
Acting as the HV Authority, maintaining and auditing HV processes and procedures for complianceSetting up and testing new underground railway systemsPreparing management plans, sub-plans, and test scriptsEnsuring standards, processes, and work instructions are applied throughout the test and commissioning engineering life cycle.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years relevant testing and commissioning experience
  • Registration as a practicing RPEQ engineer
  • Postgraduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management desirable
