Lead HV Engineer

High voltage engineers are in high demand, and we're looking for someone to join our team as a Lead HV Engineer.
About the Role- We're working on one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Brisbane's history, and we need someone with expertise in testing and commissioning systems.
- The successful candidate will have experience in setting up work plans, conducting dynamic testing, and preparing management plans and test scripts.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that will change the way Queenslanders travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and commission systems to ensure timely delivery, including 11 kV High Voltage Installations, Station and tunnel earthing and bonding, and Station low voltage Installations.
- Act as the HV Authority for the project, maintaining HV processes and procedures.
- Experience in setting to Work and Dynamic Testing of a new underground railway system.
- Able to prepare Management Plans, Sub-plans and Test Scripts.
- Apply standards, processes, procedures, and work instructions throughout the test and commissioning engineering life cycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years relevant testing and commissioning experience.
- Registered as a practicing RPEQ engineer.
- Post graduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management desirable.
