This role is based in
Brisbane
and is a permanent position with a mix of local, office and field-based work, including national travel on a project-by-project basis. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong theoretical and practical knowledge in HV/LV & E&I engineering across multiple industries.

Responsibilities
Commissioning and maintenance testing of HV Power Transformers.
Construction, assembly, and repairs of HV Power Transformers; bushing installation/replacement; onsite and workshop leak repairs.
Application of vacuum processes and performing oil filtration/degasification.
Assist in preparing commissioning/testing documentation, test plans, and detailed technical reports upon completion of works.
Carry out JSHAs (or equivalent) prior to commencing new works to identify hazards and implement controls.
Primary testing of HV/LV Transformers (Tan Delta, Voltage Ratio, Winding Resistance, Dielectric Response, SFRA, Oil Sampling).
Knowledge of circuit breakers and switchboard testing is highly advantageous.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Unrestricted Queensland Electrical Fitter and Mechanic License.
Minimum 4 years' experience post-trade.
Valid Driver's License.
HV Switching Ticket preferred.
Knowledge of Australian Standards.
Proven ability to meet project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
