We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to active research projects in various scientific fields. This role requires delivering expert statistical analysis and technical support, including designing data collection protocols, managing and manipulating datasets, system programming, and producing insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and documents computer data file structures; develops, programmes, manages, and maintains complex statistical databases;
  • Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires and surveys, and conducts logic checks to uphold data quality;
  • Formats data and prepares reports, charts, tables, and related visual materials to communicate findings;
  • Collaborates with fellow professionals in designing studies, developing statistical methodology, and executing data analysis;
  • Assists with project planning and coordination alongside internal teams;
  • May supervise students or data entry personnel on assigned research tasks;
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; minimum of 2 years' experience in a role directly aligned with the listed responsibilities;
  • Additional completed degrees from accredited institutions may be considered as equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis;
  • Proficient in designing, programming, and managing complex statistical databases;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Competent in data formatting, reporting, and interpretation;
  • Understanding of programming logic and data structures;
  • Familiarity with statistical sampling and survey methodology;
  • Experienced with tools such as SAS or similar statistical software;
  • Competent with common software such as databases, spreadsheets, word processors, and presentation tools;
  • Deep knowledge of statistical research processes, methods, and best practices.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment.
