Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled statistician to join our research team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing statistical expertise and support to researchers across a wide range of health and wellbeing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with researchers to develop statistical analysis plans and estimate resourcing requirements.
  • Carry out analysis on research data using reproducible research frameworks and select appropriate statistical methodologies.
  • Prepare clear summaries of analysis results and assist in the reporting of findings through peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Collaborate with researchers to prepare results materials for publication.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in statistical software packages, particularly R, for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with clinical trials data, hierarchical and/or longitudinal data, linked health data, classification techniques or any form of data mining.
  • Knowledge of principles or experience in implementing reproducible research and/or data science.
  • Ability to liaise with health researchers from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Good time and project management skills, including open communication regarding project progress.
