We are seeking a skilled Research Associate to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.


  • As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in providing statistical and epidemiological support for intervention-based studies and grant applications.
  • You will conduct research activities, including surveys, literature reviews, data collection and recording results using appropriate research methods under the guidance of a research leader.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide statistical and epidemiological support for intervention-based studies and grant applications.
  2. Conduct research activities, including surveys, literature reviews, data collection and recording results.
  3. Support the dissemination of research outcomes through suitable channels.
  4. Presentation at conferences and/or workshops.

Requirements
  1. A PhD in Epidemiology/Statistics or related discipline, and/or an appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training and/or professional accreditation.
  2. Competency in a range of statistical software, preferably R, SAS and/or Stata, and previous experience working with large sets of data.
  3. Experience working in the design and evaluation of trials would be beneficial.
  4. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  5. Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research (including study design and implementation, grant writing, and ethics applications) and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  6. Proven commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  7. Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.

About the Role
