About the Role

The NSW Government is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Strategic Engagement Specialist. This role will play a critical part in raising community awareness of and engagement with issues associated with women's safety.

As a Strategic Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating accurate and relevant communication materials for stakeholders using a variety of channels and platforms. You will also coordinate media and engagement efforts to support the Commissioner's policy and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective engagement strategies to promote the Commissioner's priorities
  • Creating communication materials, including social media content, press releases, and stakeholder reports
  • Coordinating events, conferences, and other engagement activities
  • Providing advice on communication aspects of the Commissioner's campaigns and programs
