Laboratory Director

As a key player in the field of laboratory management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our laboratory.
About This Role- This is a leadership position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage client expectations and answer queries in a timely manner.
- You will be responsible for maintaining staff levels and encouraging skill enhancement through training and development opportunities.
- Your focus on quality and accuracy of results will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
- Providing regular management reports to stakeholders will also be an essential part of this role.
- Maintaining equipment and laboratory manuals will be critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- A professional qualification in chemistry or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Experience in geochemistry laboratory work and knowledge of chemical principles are essential.
- Basic computer application skills, including proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), are necessary.
- Staff supervision experience and administration skills are also required.
- Familiarity with company Quality Systems is essential.
