This role involves supporting the development and implementation of research initiatives. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to disability rights and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement research initiatives
  • Conduct research to inform initiative validation, creation, and implementation
  • Facilitate data collection
  • Organise inclusive lived experience groups/panels
  • Manage documentation including progress and final reporting
  • Supervise Community Research Officers
Requirements:
  • Strong commitment to disability rights
  • Advanced organisational skills with multitasking and prioritisation
  • Excellent communication skills including accessible document production
  • Demonstrated experience in the disability sector
  • Advocacy experience with understanding of advocacy strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in social science, research or advocacy
  • 3-5 years experience in research, innovation or advocacy
  • Proficient in MS Windows/MS Office Applications
  • NSW Driver's license
