Technical Accounting Manager

Enterprise Community, Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for reviewing quarterly financial statements, year-end audits, and tax returns within our Pre-Stabilized portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review partnership tax returns, cost certifications, Form 8609s, and audits.
  • Perform 704(b) analyses and resolve tax capital account issues.
  • Process, analyze, and adjust lower-tier financial data on a quarterly basis.
  • Interface with General Partners and their Accountants on eligible basis, Housing Credit calculations, tax, and audit issues.
  • Provide annual audit and tax return training.
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of year-end audits, tax returns, cost certifications, and Form 8609s.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 6 years of accounting and tax experience, preferably in public accounting or real estate tax.
  • Knowledge of real estate development terminology and financial analysis.
  • Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, focusing on pre-stabilization properties.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative-taking and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated habit of accuracy and reliability.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Proven ability to work across teams.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite programs, and familiarity with Salesforce.

The base salary for this role is $100,000 to $110,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
