Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions in their daily lives.

About the Role:

  • This is a casual position working 15-20 hours per week.
  • You will be required to assist with personal care, household chores, grocery shopping, transportation, and provide social support.
  • The successful candidate will have experience as a disability support worker and possess the necessary qualifications and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily hygiene and getting dressed.
  2. Help with household chores, including cooking, laundry, and cleaning.
  3. Taking participants grocery shopping.
  4. Transporting participants to medical appointments.
  5. Providing social support and helping engage in social & community-based activities.
  6. Role modeling positive social behavior & positive relationships.
  7. Providing emotional support & an open ear.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a disability support worker.
  • Hold a valid NDIS workers screening check, driver's license, and manual handling certificate.
