Job Title: Construction Director

We are seeking a skilled Construction Director to lead our construction projects and Task Orders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of specialists, focusing on operational effectiveness, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct facilities' construction and maintenance at each site.
  • Direct project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities.
  • Interpret drawings and implement specifications for job site queries.
  • Resolve job site technical issues encountered during execution of construction projects.
  • Formulate and enforce operational and construction standards that support company objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Hire, train, and lead a competent workforce.
  • Keep a close watch on contractual obligations and stay informed of any regulatory changes that impact facility operations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance or Host Nation TS/PV clearance. A degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience is also required. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of seven years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size, and complexity, and at least five years of experience as a Senior/Chief Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors. Experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations is highly desirable.
