Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Position

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at VMCH. As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their daily care needs are met while empowering them to do as much as they can for themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies, and procedures.
- Accurately collect, interpret, utilize, monitor, and report information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain a plan of care in collaboration with the RN, healthcare team, and resident or medical treatment decision maker.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement.
- Experience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care Plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers.
- Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense, and a strong ethos of client service.
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated.
- Proficiency utilizing information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office.
