About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at VMCH St. Catherine's - Balwyn. As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their needs are met and preferences respected.

Job Description

As a member of our close-knit team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Collecting, interpreting, utilising, monitoring, and reporting information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes.
  • Developing, monitoring, and maintaining a plan of care in collaboration with the RN, healthcare team, and resident or medical treatment decision-maker.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement.
  • Experience assessing aged care residents and formulating care plans.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers.
  • Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense, and a strong ethos of client service.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office.
