Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at VMCH St. Catherine's in Balwyn. As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents, meeting their daily care needs, and empowering them to do as much as they can for themselves.
About the Role
This permanent part-time opportunity offers a great culture with a fun, friendly team and a supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies, and procedures. This includes accurately collecting, interpreting, utilizing, monitoring, and reporting information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies, and procedures
- Collect, interpret, utilize, monitor, and report information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes
- Develop, monitor, and maintain a plan of care in collaboration with the RN, healthcare team, and resident or medical treatment decision maker
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement
- Experience assessing aged care residents and formulating care plans
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers
- Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense, and a strong ethos of client service
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated
- Proficiency using information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office
Working Conditions
The successful incumbent will need to be flexible and available to work across the day, afternoon, and evening shifts. To work at VMCH, you will be required to supply proof of work rights, NDIS Worker Screening Check, evidence of Covid and Flu Vaccinations.

Estimated Salary Range
$62,000 - $72,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
