About Us
We are a leading provider of water management solutions. Our team specializes in the installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance of water filtration systems in commercial and government premises.
Our company is currently expanding and we have a full-time employment opportunity for a Service Technician to join our growing business. For the right candidate, there is room to move upwards within a management role in the future.
The successful applicant will work mainly throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, however occasional coastal and rural work requirements may also be involved.
You will be provided with on-job training to learn about our products and protocols. You will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for installing new water filtration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing routine scheduled maintenance.
Your Role
Installing, servicing, and maintaining water filtration systems, UV disinfection systems, and fixtures.
Troubleshooting and repairing water filtration systems and equipment.
Backflow Prevention & TMV Testing.
Processing and completing work orders.
Reading and interpreting schematics to assess and plan future installations.
Maintaining service truck.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Work, Health, and Safety Act.
Requirements
A well-groomed, mature, and respectful individual who can effectively communicate with all clients.
Plumbing trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
At least 2 years of experience as a plumber.
Valid plumbing license.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
The ability to work independently.
Managing overtime on service calls with patience and not rushing the job.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions.
Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is required to navigate around installations.
