Job Title: Construction Portfolio Manager

Lead a high-performing team in managing a large portfolio of commercial and residential construction projects. Drive growth, ensure profitability, and maintain a strong market presence.

About the Role

This key leadership position involves overseeing all aspects of project management, from estimation to delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with estimators, supervisors, and project coordinators to deliver projects safely, within budget, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for project management;
  • Oversee staff/team management, estimating, and project delivery;
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, Australian standards, and state legislation;
  • Manage client relationships, build consultants, trades, and suppliers;
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships/accounts;
  • Drive business development through strategic networking and partnerships.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Building License or Supervisor license;
  • Proven experience in domestic and commercial project management across multiple sites;
  • Strong understanding of relevant building codes, Australian standards, and state legislation;
  • Experience working with clients, building consultants, trades, and suppliers;
  • Track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Project management certifications desirable.
