This role is centered around overseeing and enhancing the compliance monitoring framework within a financial institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing robust monitoring programs, escalating concerns, and providing recommendations to improve overall compliance.
Main Responsibilities- Designing and coordinating ongoing monitoring and review programs.
- Implementing these programs with participants and addressing areas of concern.
- Preparing management reports on the outcomes of monitoring and review activities.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of financial markets, products, and clearing arrangements.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compliance and risk methodologies, as well as excellent analytical skills. A tertiary qualification in law, accounting, finance, business, or economics is required.
Key Requirements- Broad knowledge of ASX Operating Rules.
- Detailed understanding of compliance and risk principles.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Critical thinking and analytical approach.
A related postgraduate degree or certification in compliance would be an added advantage. Experience in drafting policy changes and change management skills are also highly desirable.
