Lead Nuclear Initiative Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive our nuclear initiatives. As the Program Manager / Practice Lead, you will provide strategic direction and oversee major projects in the nuclear energy industry.

Key responsibilities include guiding site selection, project planning, and regulatory approval through geotechnical and environmental consulting. You will also ensure compliance with nuclear standards by overseeing construction quality and inspecting sites.

In this role, you will lead business development, proposal efforts, and project execution focused on core offerings such as:

• Geotechnical Consulting: Guide site selection, project planning, and regulatory approval through geotechnical and environmental consulting.\
• Nuclear Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with nuclear standards by overseeing construction quality and inspecting sites.\
• Civil Engineering: Plan and execute civil engineering projects, including upgrades, maintenance programs, and major facility modifications.\
• Infrastructure Development: Develop and implement infrastructure plans to support nuclear projects.\
• Licensing and Permitting: Obtain necessary licenses and permits for nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.\
• Project Management: Oversee project execution, manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.\
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success.\
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and build relationships to grow the business.\
• Proposal Writing: Develop high-quality proposals that showcase our capabilities and win new business.\
• Sales and Marketing: Engage with clients, prospects, and partners to promote our services and products.\
• Pricing and Cost Estimation: Establish pricing and cost estimation processes to ensure accurate quotes and bids.\
• Contract Management: Manage contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.\\-

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in nuclear licensing, site investigations, and QA programs. A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology is required, along with a Professional Engineer (PE) or Geologist (PG) license in multiple states where we operate.

You must be able to demonstrate experience in nuclear licensing, site investigations, and QA programs, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Project, is also essential.
