The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Coordinator to join our Service team based in the Somerton branch. This role will see you organizing the day-to-day Field Service & Workshop activities within the branch, including planning work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking and scheduling all Workshop and Field Service works as well as managing invoicing and work in progress
  • Maintaining a high level of customer communication
  • Ensuring safety and efficiency of field service technicians
  • Ensuring effective utilization of equipment and resources in line with customer requirements and agreed budgets
  • Preparing and updating work orders and timesheets in a timely manner, maintaining documentation and warranty claims with 100% accuracy
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Scheduler/Planner or similar role
  • A strong customer service background with exposure to earthmoving or similar industries preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills while managing your time efficiently within a high-paced work environment
  • Experience in coordinating the opening and closing of service information
  • A strong ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with an ambition for achieving success
