The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Service team based in Somerton. Reporting to the Branch Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespeople with their day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material handling and setting up of equipment
  • Assist in coordination of the work schedule and preparing jobs
  • Ensure reports and paperwork are completed in a timely manner
  • General housekeeping and cleaning
  • Conduct your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
  • Maintaining rental fleet alongside qualified trades person.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a trades assistant or similar role
  • Previous hand and power tooling experience highly regarded
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
