Job Title: Help Desk Professional

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Professional to deliver exceptional support to our global workforce.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to resolve complexity 1 requests and incidents, utilising IT Service Management best practices such as ITIL.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure seamless interaction with technical and non-technical team members, users, and business representatives.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work unsupervised, in teams, and independently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing initial triage, resolution, or determining which IT resources should be engaged to fulfill requests.
  • Escalating service requests in line with established service level targets.
  • Managing and maintaining request lifecycles through to resolution.
  • Providing outstanding customer service, both written and verbal.
  • Creating and managing user accounts, imaging, personalisation, and support of workstations.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting at a 1st line level, including incident and problem management, active directory administration, exchange administration, Microsoft Teams telephony support, office 365 administration, and network troubleshooting.
