About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Swarovski. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of our end-to-end weekly payroll function for Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the weekly payroll function for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring timely and accurate processing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate data in our payroll and time and attendance systems, ensuring legislative and award compliance.
- Process and reconcile superannuation contributions, payroll tax, and other associated tax requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to leaders and employees on all payroll matters, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to provide information that supports business decision-making and ad-hoc requests.
- Support audits, both internal and external, and provide ad-hoc payroll reporting as requested by HR and other internal departments.
- Log payroll/system-related queries to system providers and resolve issues with their support.
- Perform system upgrades and maintenance, ensuring our payroll and time and attendance systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate staff records, including new hires, job changes, terminations, remuneration, and conditions of service.
- Coordinate and reconcile workers' compensation premiums and other associated benefits.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Payroll or completed Payroll Courses for AU and NZ.
- Experience with Micropay, with Dayforce (Time and Attendance System) and Workday being preferred.
- Previous experience in processing payroll for New Zealand.
- Legislative and award compliance, with the ability to interpret relevant awards and legislation for AU and NZ.
