Customer Banking Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an individual who will be the public face of our Retail Banking Services team, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to articulate financial terms clearly, and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth conversations with customers to understand their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking, and Financial Advice.
  • Support customers with account enquiries, maintenance, and credit product applications.
  • Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide options for customers through education and demonstration of in-branch technology and digital banking solutions.
  • Problem-solve and provide effective solutions while championing a risk-adverse culture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in financial services, retail, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, commercial environment and prioritize customer needs.
  • A genuine interest in improving the financial wellbeing of customers.
