Home Care Worker/Support Worker - Casual

Job Summary

Multiple casual positions available across the Eastern, Outer Eastern and Yarra Valley regions. Candidates ideally able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week. No weekends available. Pay: $33.82 per hour + 25% casual loading + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging to maximise take home pay.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Personalised Support: Deliver high-quality, individualized assistance that empowers older adults to live fulfilling lives.
  • Creating Connections: Offer companionship and emotional support through engaging conversations and meaningful interactions.
  • Facilitating Independence: Help clients with personal care and transportation to appointments, ensuring they stay connected and active in their communities.
  • Implementing Care Plans: Follow and execute individual service, healthcare, and positive behavior support plans, tailoring your approach to each client\'s unique needs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Cert III Qualification in Aged Care, or Individual Support (must have completed aged care components).
  • Experience working with older adults.
  • The ability to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.
  • A desire to use your skills and experience creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers.
  • A valid driver's licence.
