Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Editor to join our publishing team. This is a unique chance for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in the book industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from manuscript to finished copy, including proactive project management, creative development and editing, evaluating submissions, preparing acquisition plans, copywriting and metadata management, as well as liaising with authors, agents and freelancers.

Responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on submissions, contributing to brainstorming sessions and discussions of new acquisitions, and managing multiple schedules.

Requirements:

A qualified Editor must possess exceptional editorial skills, a keen eye for detail, and demonstrable experience of guiding titles through the full editorial process.

Prior experience within the book and entertainment industries would be advantageous, as would experience of working within an editorial setting.
