Editorial Assistant - Publishing Specialist

The role is perfect for an individual who's passionate about children's books and has a strong passion for publishing. The Editorial Assistant will assist with various tasks across the publishing team, focusing on supporting original series and licensed brands publishing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support editorial projects from start to finish, including proofreading and fact-checking.
  • Assist with coordinating publication schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the children's book publishing industry.
  • Communicate effectively with authors, illustrators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
