Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager
Job DescriptionAs a facilities operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of a healthcare facility.
This includes managing a team of staff responsible for cleaning across the facility, communicating with contractors for waste management and cleaning services, ordering cleaning supplies, operating in line with infection control standards and WHS policies, and providing high-quality cleaning services to patients, clients, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise Environmental Services staff
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers
- Ensure infection control and WHS standards are met
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and staff
Flexibility to work across different hours as required
Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital, hotel services, or shopping centre
3-5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of managing a 24/7 roster using systems like Kronos
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Motivation to ensure excellent customer service
Ability to complete tasks within set timeframes
Willingness to work in physically demanding roles
Certification 3 or 4 in cleaning operations is desirable
