The role:

Our Facilities Management team is recognized as a leader in delivering top-tier facilities management across Australia. You will manage a high-profile healthcare client with a diverse portfolio of 26 sites across Queensland, including hospitals, aged care facilities, and medical centres.

Based in Brisbane, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities manager to advance their career by managing a larger, diverse portfolio within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have experience managing portfolios for asset owners and be prepared to partner with the Senior Facilities Manager to deliver high-performance outcomes across sites throughout Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenant stakeholders.
• Manage compliance and risk across the portfolio to ensure lease compliance and protect client interests.
• Maintain all facilities data and documentation within our Facilities Response Centre (FRC) platform.
• Drive the management of critical facilities operations including contractor performance, procurement, compliance, incident reporting, and management.
• Manage essential services such as air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety where the client is responsible.
• Oversee service contracts and contractors to ensure high-quality, efficient performance.
• Engage in and deliver sustainability initiatives aligned with client strategy.
• Manage small-scale capital works projects.
• Support the portfolio management team in developing budgets and re-forecasting as needed.

• Currently working as a facilities manager, preferably with a portfolio management experience.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience on behalf of asset owners.
• Strong experience in contractor and contract management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Collaborative attitude and commitment to supporting team goals.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Queensland.
