Supporting Women in Need: A Compassionate Case Manager Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team in supporting women experiencing homelessness. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, respectful environment while helping clients work towards long-term stability.

About the Role

The Case Manager will be responsible for building strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, and empowering support throughout their stay. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized case plans to support each client's unique needs and goals.

This role involves coordinating access to housing, mental health, domestic violence, and other support services in collaboration with partner organizations. You will also manage the day-to-day operations of the accommodation site, ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

You will work closely with clients to understand their strengths, needs, and aspirations, and provide personalized support to help them achieve their goals. Your calm, empathetic approach and ability to build respectful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, or relevant experience in the homelessness sector.
  • Previous experience in working with vulnerable and at-risk populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partner organizations and stakeholders.
